Micronic Air Filter Conversion Kit
for Mercedes *300SL Gullwing & Roadster

This kit includes a new Base Plate, threaded insert Plate and a High Quality Washable Micronic Air Filter Element

The Conversion Kit Requires opening the Crimp on the outer edge of the original Air Cleaner, cutting the Mesh on the Inner section and carefully welding the Threaded Insert Plate to the Inner Mesh section so that the Cover seals properly against the Base of the Filter Element when installed.

This Conversion must be performed by a qualified repair shop.

*Note - Some very early 300SL Coupes used a different Air Cleaner Housing which requires the kit at LINK
