Both halves of the bumper were steel that were the same thickness as the MB originals. The finish was not perfect but was excellent for the price. The fit was exactly the same as originals with the proper install.
Would have rated as a 5 but the center cover piece was polished stainless that does not match chrome and is very noticeable. I just used my original chrome one.
